Alidu as a title pays homage to the story Alidu & His Goat from our primary school books where the goat refused to talk in public until it was time to save his master’s life.
I gave this song that title for three reasons:
1. To pay homage to the original story and also signify a return to the basics for me as an artiste.
2. My fans have been calling for me to bring the bars back sort of like how Alidu was begging his goat to speak. In this case I’m the G.O.A.T and I spit fire.

3. A flipside to reason 2 and an actual line in the song – other people claim they’re the ’s then I’m Alidu, their master.
